• Color: All projects are hand–mixed for the custom color our clients want. Counterpart, LLC has developed hundreds of colors, can customize an existing color or even match the color of any item. All colors can be produced in a solid, speckled or variegated pattern.
• Shape: Concrete pieces are hand–cast, so they can be formed in any shape imaginable–without material waste common to other traditional materials.
• Size: Most traditional materials naturally limit how large and complex a piece can be. Concrete, because it is custom–cast and internally reinforced, can be virtually any size without or with minimal seams.
• Finish: Any concrete application can be finished with a sealant offering a gloss, semi–gloss or flat finish. If the concrete will not be susceptible to staining agents, then a highly polished finish can be produced.
• Texture: Depending on the application, the texture can be customized as the client desires. Countertops and other horizontal concrete applications are generally smooth, but vertical panels can be coarse, medium or sleek.
• Edging: Counterpart, LLC can form and cast custom edges, or the concrete can be cut like other solid surfaces. We offer pencil, beveled, concave, reverse cove, bullnose and other custom edges.
• Function: Integral and vessel sinks, cutting boards, trivets, drip trays, indoor or outdoor ice troughs, shower pans and many other interesting and functional features can be integrated into any of Counterpart, LLC’s custom projects.
• Embedded items: Objects of any color, size and density can be embedded in your concrete, making your piece one–of–a–kind. Some of the most popular embedded materials include recycled glass, stone, ammonites/fossils, stainless steel, scrap metal and found objects
